I am an illustrator, visual storyteller and Photoshop whizz.
Last year my first book was published in seven languages. It was shortlisted for the Stratford-Salariya Picture Book Prize 2017.
I have completed a Masters in Children's Book Illustration.
I used to work at The Mill, a visual effects and production studio, where I spent time creative retouching and also worked with film directors, researching, designing pitches and drawing storyboards.
I like documentaries about people, comic books, Japanese woodcuts and dramatic, emotional movies. These all influence my image making and story telling. I often favour art that is inclusive and accessible. I like the mundane and the dramatic, the everyday, the surreal and the ridiculous.
